Night in Kyiv: Attack Drones Strike the Capital Again
On the night of October 29 to 30, Kyiv found itself under attack — loud explosions confirmed a new wave of assaults by hostile drones.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, around 1 a.m., initial reports indicated unusual activity in the sky over the capital, prompting the air defense forces to take action.
The KMA reported that the anti-aircraft defenses are actively working to neutralize the threat, while residents are urged to remain in shelters until an official alarm signal is lifted.
Military sources noted that just minutes before the explosions, at 1:21 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Forces warned Kyiv residents about drone activity in the city.
By 1:32 a.m., information emerged about a group of UAVs heading westward in central Kyiv region, and by 1:44 a.m., another drone group was detected near the borders of Kyiv and Cherkasy regions, heading towards Vinnytsia.
Local authorities advise citizens to stay in protective shelters and be prepared for potential repeated attacks overnight.
