Explosions Renewed in Ivano-Frankivsk and Khmelnytskyi: Missiles Strike Western Ukraine
Early morning on October 30, explosions echoed across the sunlit territories of Western Ukraine, frightening local residents and highlighting the increasing tension in the region.
At approximately 5:30 AM, loud blasts were heard in Ivano-Frankivsk, quickly confirmed by local authorities.
The city’s mayor, Ruslan Marchenko, announced via Telegram that air defense systems were operational and urged residents to stay alert.
He also warned that power outages might occur due to strikes on the country’s energy infrastructure.
According to the Ukrainian Air Forces, cruise missiles were launched during this time, heading towards Ivano-Frankivsk.
By 6:00 AM, reports indicated that the missiles continued westward and were en route to Khmelnytskyi, another western region of Ukraine.
Moments earlier, reporters from Suspilne reported loud explosions in Khmelnytskyi, confirmed by local eyewitnesses.
These attacks illustrate the ongoing escalation of the conflict and pose a grave threat to civilians in the affected regions.
