Chas Pravdy - 30 October 2025 07:25

During the early hours of October 30, a series of explosions rocked the Ivano-Frankivsk region, triggering widespread concern among residents and officials.

According to reports from the public broadcaster «Suspilne», the regional military administration head, Svitlana Onyshchuk, and Ivano-Frankivsk mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv, the air raid alarm was sounded at 4:30 a.m., amid the threat of enemy drones and missiles.

The first explosions were recorded at 4:44, followed by multiple detonations in quick succession.

Local authorities repeatedly warned residents to stay alert, given the ongoing threat from Russian drones and missile strikes.

At 5:27, the mayor confirmed that air defense systems were actively working to protect the city.

The incident underscores the heightened tension in the region, consistent with the general escalation of air raid alerts across Ukraine, as enemy activity remains high.
