Russian Forces Intensify Infiltration in Pokrovsk: Logistics Under Threat
In recent months, the situation in the Pokrovsk direction has become increasingly tense due to the heightened activity of Russian occupation forces.
The analytical center DeepState reports that Russian troops continue to conduct large-scale infiltration into the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, aiming to strengthen their positions and disrupt Ukrainian logistics.
They systematically seek weak points in defensive lines, while deploying drones and artillery strikes to target Ukrainian units, logistical routes, and command centers.
It is known that infiltration has been ongoing since July of this year, with the enemy already controlling several hundred militants who set ambushes, mine roads, and engage in combat against rear units of Ukrainian forces.
On the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk, Russian drone pilots have been recorded, actively destroying logistical resources and responding to movements of Ukrainian troops.
Experts emphasize that after the start of mass infantry advances, enemy activity has significantly increased, damaging or breaking logistics pathways towards Myrnohrad and the surrounding area.
The worst part is that the enemy has already broken the logistics in this direction, complicating defense efforts and creating additional difficulties for Ukrainian forces.
The enemy actively employs drones for monitoring and striking movement and supply routes, worsening the critical situation in the city.
Analysts urge for large-scale measures to block enemy infiltration routes and conduct comprehensive clearance operations by brigades, rather than small groups, to reduce the risk of losing control over Pokrovsk.
Only joint actions by sizable military formations can prevent a catastrophe and bring the situation in the region under control.
