Russian Forces Advance in Pokrovsk and Dnipropetrovsk Region: Latest Frontline Developments

Chas Pravdy - 29 October 2025 11:57

According to recent reports from the analytical resource DeepState, Russian occupation forces have made significant advances in certain combat zones within Ukraine, notably around Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region and near Priville in the Dnipropetrovsk area.

The aggressor’s troops have pushed forward near the village of Chervony Lyman, located close to Myrnohrad, as well as in the Priville district of Sinelekivskyi raion.

The tactical map as of October 29 at 10:29 indicates activity in these sectors, highlighting an escalation of tension on the frontline.Representatives of DeepState emphasized that the invaders are not only moving forward but are also expanding their control zone in the region.

Co-founder Roman Pogorilyi noted that in Pokrovsk, the enemy does not fully control the territory but conducts sabotage-reconnaissance activities, which could complicate Ukrainian military operations. The Russian military appears to have shifted tactics — they are actively deploying equipment in the Pokrovsk direction.

Moreover, around 200 infantry soldiers have been concentrated there, though logistics remain problematic, as transportation and supply lines continue to be hindered.

Volunteer Serhiy Sternenko pointed out that vehicles are unlikely to penetrate the area due to enemy activity. It is also known that Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his troops to seize the city of Pokrovsk by mid-November, raising heightened concerns over this strategic location and potential escalation of hostilities in the region.
