Escalation of Hostilities in Donbas: Over 150 Enemy Attacks in a Single Day

Over the past 24 hours, the frontline situation has remained tense, with Russian occupying forces once again demonstrating high activity across different sectors of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

According to official data from the Ukrainian General Staff, on October 29, more than 150 enemy clashes took place, including 47 in the Pokrovsk direction.

Russian forces launched 41 air strikes using 87 guided bombs, and carried out over 3,700 drone kamikaze attacks, indicating a high level of aggression and determination.

Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled several attacks in various sectors—from Kursk and North-Slobozhansk to Limansk and Kramatorsk.

Intense fighting was reported near Vovchansk, Kamyanka, Pishane, and Stupochky.

The enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 24 times during the day in areas including Konstantinivka, Predtecheyne, and Shcherbynivka.

Additionally, enemy assaults increased in zones such as Zelenyi Hai, Stepe, and Novodanylivka, while Ukrainian forces managed to hold their positions around Mirne, Sichneve, and other strategic points.

Overall, Ukrainian troops demonstrate resilience and courage in defending key positions under exceedingly difficult combat conditions.
