Conflict in Knyazhychi: Incident Over Military Documents Results in Police Officer Injuries
An incident occurred in the village of Knyazhychi in the Kyiv region, involving a clash between local residents, law enforcement officers, and military personnel, triggered by a man’s refusal to present military registration documents.
The event took place on October 29 amid preventive measures conducted by police.
According to police authorities, during the check, a local resident refused to show his documents.
This led to rising tensions and quickly escalated into a conflict, during which a woman related to the resident struck a police officer with a baton, causing physical injury to the officer.
The police detained the woman, aged 42, under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
A criminal case has been initiated against her under Article 345, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the Kyiv police leadership is conducting an internal investigation to assess the legality of law enforcement actions during the incident.
