CEC officially registers Dmytro Slynyk as a People’s Deputy of Ukraine following early termination of Anna Kolisnik’s mandate

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has officially confirmed the election and registration of Dmytro Slynyk as a new People’s Deputy of Ukraine representing the Servant of the People party.

This development occurred following the early termination of the mandate of the previous deputy, Anna Kolisnik, who in June submitted a resignation.

As a result, Slynyk, who previously worked for many years as a journalist and editor for various Ukrainian media outlets, has entered the Verkhovna Rada.

According to the spokesperson of the Servant of the People faction, Yulia Paliychuk, Slynyk held positions at the information agency Interfax-Ukraine, as well as in publications such as Ekonomichni Vedyomosti, Dilo, Fokus, Korrespondent, and Krasyva Krajina.

Born on December 29, 1979, in Kyiv, he graduated from the Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko with a degree in International Economics.

He joined the Servant of the People team in 2019, initially managing the information hub and editing the party’s newspaper.

The arrival of Slynyk is part of ongoing personnel changes in Ukraine’s parliament amid the turbulent political situation.

It is worth noting that Anna Kolisnik had earlier announced her resignation in June, citing suspicion of submitting false information in her electronic declaration amounting to over 4.4 million hryvnias, along with scandals related to correspondence and comments about the Russian military buildup on Ukraine’s borders.

These issues arose even before the full-scale invasion.

Kolisnik has not been present in the Verkhovna Rada since March 2025, raising serious questions about her political future.
