Woman injured in Kyiv shelling on October 22 dies in hospital: casualties rise to three
A tragic incident has resulted in another loss of life following Russian shelling of the Ukrainian capital.
On October 22, Kyiv was targeted by missile strikes that caused destruction and civilian casualties.
According to Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko, a woman who was severely injured during the attack was hospitalized and later succumbed to her injuries.
Sadly, her death brings the total number of victims from this attack to three.
Further details indicate that earlier that evening, two people were killed and another injured during similar attacks across the city.
The explosion debris caused a fire in a ten-story residential building in the Desnianskyi district, while in Darnytskyi, debris fell on a dormitory.
Additionally, a medical facility in Dniprovskyi district was damaged by falling wreckage.
This series of incidents underscores the devastating impact of the missile attacks, highlighting the urgent need for increased safety measures and protection for civilians in Kyiv and throughout Ukraine.
