Ukraine Implements New Online Opportunities for Military Deferments via «Reserv+» App
In Ukraine, comprehensive mobilization processes continue amid a state of martial law, which mandates the conscription of eligible males who receive appropriate summons.
However, the government also emphasizes the rights of citizens who qualify for deferments from conscription under specific circumstances.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the launch of beta testing for new features within the «Reserv+» mobile application, aimed at simplifying the process of obtaining deferments online.
These innovations primarily target categories such as parents or guardians who independently raise children under 18, and those caring for relatives with disabilities.
The ministry invites eligible citizens to participate in testing and be among the first to use the new service.
To do so, users need to fill out a short online form via the provided link.
The process itself is straightforward and rapid: applicants submit a request within the «Reserv+» system, which then automatically verifies their data through state registries.
If confirmed, the deferment is issued automatically, and the relevant information is reflected in the electronic military record.
This entire procedure is fully automated, typically taking only a few hours, and does not require the submission of additional documents or lengthy visits to military recruitment centers.
This technological advancement significantly reduces bureaucratic delays, providing transparency and speed in securing deferments.
The Ministry also reminds eligible individuals about the procedures for basic military training for those subject to conscription and encourages citizens to take advantage of modern digital services to protect their rights during these challenging times.
