The Cessna 208 Caravan operated by Mombasa Air Safari was flying from the popular Diani Beach resort to the runway near the renowned Maasai Mara wildlife reserve.
The accident occurred around 05:30 local time (00:30 Kyiv time).
According to initial reports, onboard were eight Hungarians, two Germans, and a Kenyan pilot.
All passengers and crew members lost their lives in the crash.
Local media published images showing the burning aircraft and scattered debris at the scene.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway, with preliminary assumptions pointing to unfavorable weather conditions—such as rain and fog—that likely contributed to the tragedy.
