Intense Shelling in Southern and Eastern Ukraine: Casualties and Destruction

Chas Pravdy - 28 October 2025 08:24

On October 27, Russian forces carried out missile and drone attacks across three key regions of Ukraine — Kharkiv, Kherson, and Donetsk — resulting in new casualties and extensive damages.

According to recent reports, two civilians were killed and eight others injured in these large-scale attacks.

Sources from regional military administrations indicate that the enemy used various types of weaponry, including kamikaze drones like ‘Geran-2’ and FPV drones, as well as artillery and mortar fire.

In Kharkiv, drone strikes caused injuries, notably a 41-year-old man in Kupiansk, and damaged residential buildings.

In neighboring regions, more than twenty settlements sustained damage to homes, agricultural structures, and vehicles, leading to significant losses.

In Kherson Oblast, enemy shelling targeted over twenty villages, damaging both private and multi-apartment buildings, farm structures, and vehicles.

As a result, one person was killed and six others wounded.

In Donetsk, aggressors killed a resident of Kostiantynivka and wounded another.

Additionally, on the same day, the enemy launched artillery, mortar, and drone attacks on several locations in Kherson region, leaving four injured, including a police officer.

This ongoing violence underscores a tense and challenging situation for local residents, who face daily threats and destruction in the country’s eastern and southern territories.
