DIBR Detains Former Head of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, in Financial Crime Investigation
In Lviv region, law enforcement agents from the State Bureau of Investigations carried out a significant operation, detaining former Ukrenergo CEO Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, who is currently in custody.
This action is part of a broad investigation into financial misconduct within the country’s energy sector.
In parallel, a new suspicion has been announced against businessman Ihor Grinkevych, who is already in detention.
According to sources, investigators are preparing documents that accuse Kudrytskyi of large-scale fraud and money laundering linked to illicit proceeds.
This move represents a strategic effort by Ukrainian authorities to combat corruption and economic crimes, aiming to restore transparency and trust in energy management and curb abuse within the sector.
