Soldiers of ‘Skala’ Regiment Liberate Yehorivka Village: Dozens of Russian Invaders Eliminated and Ukrainian Flag Raised
The military units of the ‘Skala’ regiment conducted a successful operation to clear the strategically important village of Yehorivka in Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to reports from Ukrainian sources, during the special operation, dozens of Russian soldiers were neutralized, and the enemy was forced to retreat from their positions.
A video of the assault was published by the Strategic Communications Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Telegram.
Ukrainian troops noted that the Russian occupiers attempted to hide in houses and avoid confrontation even after Ukrainian troops appeared nearby.
The operation concluded successfully — the invaders were surrounded, shelled with grenade launchers, and eliminated in close combat.
Following the clearance, ‘Skala’ fighters raised the Ukrainian flag over the village, symbolizing their victory.
Additionally, Ukrainian defenders pushed back the enemy from three other settlements in the region and thwarted several attempts of the Russian forces to break through these areas.
It is also worth mentioning that prior to this, ‘Skala’ unit troops recaptured the village of Torske in the northern part of Donetsk region, confirming continued successful counteroffensive efforts.
These advances showcase the effectiveness of Ukrainian military operations in ongoing counterattacks on the eastern front.
