Zelensky reports massive Russian air strikes on Ukraine over the past week
In the past seven days, Russia has conducted an extraordinarily active and destructive military campaign against Ukraine, deploying nearly 1,200 attack drones, over 1,360 guided aerial bombs, and more than 50 missiles of various types.
These numbers reflect real strikes on civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, and the general life of Ukrainian citizens.
According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, these attacks are a deliberate strategic tactic by Russian forces aimed at maximizing destabilization of the peaceful population.
On the night of October 26, Kyiv again came under attack, resulting in damage to multi-story buildings in several districts of the city.
Nevertheless, Ukrainian military forces and defense systems continue to actively defend, fight, and counter the aggression, doing everything possible to minimize consequences and protect their citizens.
The president emphasized that despite the grim situation, Ukraine continues to strengthen its defense capabilities both militarily and diplomatically, fighting for its independence and territorial integrity with all its might.
