Russian Drones Cause Widespread Damage and Power Outage in Zaporizhzhia Region
In the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine, extensive military attacks involving unmanned aerial vehicles have resulted in significant destruction and a widespread power outage affecting over 1,700 residents.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, the enemy launched at least five drone strikes targeting infrastructure and residential buildings.
As a result of the attacks, multiple private homes, a sports complex, and utility structures were damaged.
Fortunately, there are no reports of casualties so far.
Power restoration crews are already preparing to begin recovery work as soon as the security situation allows, Fedorov added.
Authorities are urging residents to stay calm and follow safety guidelines during the outage and ongoing threat of strikes.
