Russian Defense Ministry Claims Over 80 Ukrainian Drones Shot Down During Night Sky Assault
Russia has announced new details from the Ministry of Defense regarding overnight hostilities.
According to officials, Russian air defense systems successfully shot down and intercepted more than 80 Ukrainian drones that aimed to strike Russian territories.
The most active areas were Bryansk and Tula regions, where 30 and 26 drones were reportedly neutralized, respectively.
Additionally, seven drones were downed over the Black Sea area, with four more intercepted over the Sea of Azov, Krasnodar Krai, and the Riazan region.
Notably, one drone was detected flying towards Moscow, highlighting attempts to target the Russian capital.
Interceptions also took place over Kursk and Lipetsk regions, with all incidents underlining the ongoing security threats faced by Russia amidst continued conflict efforts.
