Russian Attacks on Transportation Infrastructure in Chernihiv Region Lead to Temporary Railway Suspension

On the night of October 26, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on transportation infrastructure facilities in the Chernihiv region.

According to Korukivka mayor Ratan Ahmedov, drone strikes caused significant damage to railway and other transport objects, resulting in the temporary suspension of suburban train services between Snovsk and Bakhmach stations.

Repair and damage assessment works have begun, and further updates are expected on October 27.

Authorities urge residents to remain calm and wait for official information regarding the situation.
