Putin Demonstrates Nuclear Missile Tests: Russia’s Advanced Weapon Strategies
Russian President Vladimir Putin recently showcased his military strength through a public announcement regarding extensive tests of new strategic weapons.
During a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, he reviewed the results of the tests of the cruise missile with a nuclear-powered engine, known as ‘Burevestnik.’ According to Gerasimov, the tests took place on October 21 and were successful.
The missile traveled over 14,000 kilometers in the air and remained airborne for about 15 hours, demonstrating the durability and reliability of this new weapon system.
In his speech, he emphasized that the technical specifications of ‘Burevestnik’ allow for its use against high-security targets at any distance with high precision, enhancing Russia’s defensive capabilities.
Putin noted that these tests once again confirmed Russia’s ability to safeguard its nuclear shield and acknowledged the uniqueness of the missile, which he claims is unmatched worldwide.
He also outlined future steps, including determining potential deployment strategies and preparing the necessary infrastructure within the armed forces for maximum utilization of this weapon, underscoring the importance of strategic arms for national security.
