Night Attack on Kyiv Leaves Three Dead and Dozens Injured in Fierce Drone Strike
On the night of October 26, Kyiv was once again subjected to a devastating assault, resulting in significant casualties and destruction.
As a consequence of a hostile drone (UAV) attack, three civilians lost their lives, and 29 others were wounded, including seven children.
This marks the second attack on the Ukrainian capital within 24 hours, illustrating worsening military tensions and persistent threats to civilians.
According to the State Emergency Service (SES), rescuers responded promptly to contain fires and evacuate victims from the aftermath of the strike.
Multiple residential buildings suffered damage: in the Desniansky district, a nine-story apartment complex caught fire after a drone impact, with 13 residents rescued from the upper floors.
Another drone hit a 16-story building, causing shattered windows from the 1st to the 9th floor.
In the Obolon district, no fires were observed from the drone attack, but incidents were reported.
Emergency personnel continue to assist the injured and work on clearing debris and damage caused by the attack.
The strike has resulted in tragic human losses and widespread destruction, highlighting the ongoing danger faced by Kyiv residents amidst ongoing hostilities.
