Intense Battles Continue on the Frontlines with Significant Fighting on Multiple Directions
On Sunday, the situation at the front lines remained tense, with major battles and assaults across several strategic sectors.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff update at 10:00 PM, over 110 combat engagements occurred within the day.
The most active sectors included the Pokrovsk and Pivdenno-Slobozhansk directions, where the enemy launched 28 and 18 attacks, respectively.
Ukrainian forces bravely repelled numerous assaults and successfully defended key positions.
At the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian troops repelled one enemy assault, indicating ongoing intense fighting across all fronts.
The fiercest clashes took place in the Pivdenno-Slobozhansk sector, where the enemy launched 18 attacks near Vovchansk, Kamianka, Stroyivka, Bologivka, and Dvorichansky district, facing firm resistance from Ukrainian defenders who inflicted significant losses.
On the Kupiansk direction, enemy units attempted five unsuccessful assault operations, trying to break through Ukrainian lines near Pishane and Petropavlivka.
Heavy fighting also continued in the Lyman sector, with Russian forces attacking positions near Karpivka, Serednie, Derilove, and Torske, but Ukrainian troops held their ground.
At the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy attacks in areas around Vyimka, Serebryanka, Siversk, Pereizne, and Fedorivka.
The Russian forces concentrated efforts on the Kostiantynivka sector, conducting 14 attacks near Shcherbivka, Kleban Bik, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Pleschiivka but failed to break through Ukrainian defenses.
The most tense situation was reported on the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian units launched 28 attacks in areas around Ivanivka, Rodinske, Myrnograd, Chervony Liman, Pankivka, Lisyivka, Udaine, Novoekonomiche, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Molodytske, and in the directions of Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka.
All these efforts resulted in unsuccessful attempts for the enemy, but hostilities continue, with three combat engagements ongoing.
Over the past day, Ukrainian forces eliminated 73 Russian invaders, including 29 confirmed KIA.
On the Oleksandrivka sector, Ukrainian units halted 11 enemy assaults near Sosnivka, Stepove, Piddubne, Oleksandrad, Pavlivka, Novohryhorivka, and Rybne, with two other fights still ongoing.
At the Huliaipole sector, defenders stopped two enemy attempts to advance near Malynivka and Zelenyi Hai, while aerial strikes targeted settlements such as Solodke, Rivnopillya, Zvizdne, and Nechayivka.
On the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops repelled four attacks near Novoandriivka, Stepove, and Stepnohirsk, with enemy air strikes affecting settlements like Stepnohirsk, Veselianyka, and Novoyakovlivka.
On the Dnipro front, the enemy launched two attacks near Antonivskyi Bridge, both repelled successfully, and inflicted air strikes on the village of Olhivka.
The situation remains tense, but Ukrainian military personnel continue to hold defensive positions and inflict significant losses on the enemy.
