Zelensky Reveals Massive Missile Attacks on Ukraine: How Many Rockets and Drones Were Launched in 2025
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky provided detailed insights into the scope of recent missile strikes, marking one of the largest missile assaults in recent times.
According to him, Russian forces launched over 50 ‘Kinzhal’ missiles and approximately 770 ballistic missiles in 2025, causing extensive destruction and civilian casualties.
In the night of October 25, the adversary increased the intensity of attacks, deploying dozens of kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles, especially targeting Kyiv, resulting in two civilian deaths and infrastructural damages across multiple districts.
Zelensky emphasized the urgent need to bolster Ukraine’s air defenses and appealed to international partners—USA, Europe, and G7—to expedite support, particularly in deploying Patriot missile systems, to safeguard Ukrainian lives.
Meanwhile, the president highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities despite daily challenges, urging the global community to intensify assistance for the security of Ukraine’s citizens.
