Ukrainian Armed Forces Destroy Crucial Russian Repair Base in Kherson Region
The Ukrainian military launched a precise and impactful strike on an enemy repair and maintenance facility located in the temporarily occupied area of Kherson region.
Operatives from the partisan movement «Atesh» provided coordinates that led to this targeted attack.
According to sources, Ukrainian defenders identified this critical infrastructure used by Russian forces for servicing and repairing military equipment.
The successful strike resulted in the total destruction of the base, along with all machinery and large quantities of military hardware stored there.
This significantly hampers the Russians’ ability to restore damaged equipment and deploy it back onto the battlefield.
As a consequence, the combat effectiveness of Russian troops in the region suffers, weakening their position and reducing their armored vehicle capabilities on this front.
In addition, Ukrainian assault units recently retook a strategically important village on the Donbas frontline, eliminating a multitude of occupying forces.
The partisan fighters emphasized that the destruction of the Russian repair base will disrupt their capacity to resupply and restore equipment, ultimately undermining their operational strength in Kherson.
Meanwhile, in Russia, recent drone attacks in the Volgograd region have targeted the Balashovskaya substation, which supplies electricity from the Volga HPP to the central regions of Russia.
These attacks continue to threaten the security of the region and complicate energy systems across the country.
