Ukraine Implements Hourly Power Outages Due to Missile Attacks

Chas Pravdy - 25 October 2025 21:19

On Sunday, October 26, certain regions of Ukraine will experience scheduled interruptions in electricity supply as a response to the nationwide repercussions of massive Russian missile and drone attacks targeting energy infrastructure.

According to Ukrenergo, hourly power outages will be implemented from 9 a.m.

to 10 p.m., with durations ranging from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the situation.

Industrial consumers will also face power restrictions during the same period to reduce load on the energy grid.

The company has emphasized that the timing and scope of these outages may change based on operational circumstances and the level of threat posed by ongoing missile strikes.

This measure has become a routine part of Ukraine’s efforts to stabilize its energy system amid ongoing military conflicts and persistent attacks aimed at crippling critical infrastructure.
