Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv: a new escalation in the conflict

On October 25th, around 3:00 AM, Russian forces launched a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, a few minutes prior to the attack, at 3:55 AM, several ballistic missiles were detected heading towards the city.

Swift alerts were issued earlier, warning residents about high-speed targets moving from the northeast in the direction of Kyiv.

By 3:58 AM, the military had reported additional targets approaching the city, urging all residents to seek shelter immediately.

This attack marks a significant escalation, demonstrating Russia’s increasing use of ballistic weapons in its ongoing conflict with Ukraine.
