Oleksandr Syrskyi Calls for Transparency and Honesty in the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukraine’s Chief Commander, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, issued a significant statement emphasizing the unacceptable nature of deceit and concealment of the truth by military commanders during reporting.
According to him, any distortion of information about the front-line situation can lead to severe consequences and endanger the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.
The military leader stressed that the paramount value is honesty, regardless of its nature, because it directly impacts the effectiveness of operations and soldiers’ safety.
Syrskyi visited the Pokrovsk direction, where he met with commanders of army corps, brigades, and military units engaged in combat in the region.
The main tasks remain locating and destroying enemy sabotage groups, as well as eliminating or capturing encircled enemy forces resisting in the area.
The general called on commanders to be truthful and transparent about the situation at the front, as lies could cost lives.
