Russian Attacks on Dnipropetrovsk Region Trigger Large Fire and Infrastructure Damage

Chas Pravdy - 24 October 2025 09:27

In recent days, Russian occupiers have intensified their attacks across the Dnipropetrovsk region, targeting critical infrastructure with artillery strikes and drone assaults.

These strikes resulted in a large-scale fire, damage to key facilities, and posed serious threats to local residents.

According to acting Regional Head Vladyslav Hayvanenko and firefighters from the State Emergency Service (SES), the enemy intentionally aimed at strategic objects, especially in the Pokrovsk and Nikopol districts.

Hayvanenko reported that defenders shot down six UAVs flying over the region.

Notably, in the Pokrovsk community on Sinelekiliv District, Russian forces used a drone to attack, causing a fire and significant infrastructure destruction, though no casualties were reported.

Emergency responders confirmed that residents were safe during the attacks.

These acts of terror by Russian forces aim to destabilize the situation and damage critical infrastructure, Ukrainian officials emphasize.
