During an official press conference in Brussels, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reaffirmed Ukraine’s stance on the use of military equipment, emphasizing that Ukrainian forces have never employed American long-range weaponry on Russian territory.

He stated that the Ukrainian military uses only equipment with limited range, reserved strictly for active combat zones or for pre-mission training, and firmly denied any incidents involving U.S.

weapons targeting Russia.

Zelensky also highlighted that Crimea and Donbas are integral parts of Ukraine, and any involvement of foreign-supplied weapons must comply with international standards and national legislation.

He further clarified that Ukrainian armed forces possess a diverse array of weaponry capable of conducting extensive operations, but these do not include the use of American missile systems such as Tomahawk against Russia.

The President touched upon the background of US-Ukraine relations, especially regarding recent high-level discussions about the potential delivery of advanced missile systems, including Tomahawk cruise missiles.

This issue remains highly sensitive and politically complex, as the United States has yet to give a definitive agreement.

Zelensky emphasized Ukraine’s commitment to peace and stability, reaffirming that the country has never attacked Russian targets with prohibited weapons, while maintaining its right to defend itself and ensure national security.
