Russian ‘Banzai Attacks’ on the Alexandrivsk Direction and Escalating Battles in the South
On the Alexandrivsk front, Russian forces continue relentless assaults primarily involving poorly trained infantry units advancing on foot, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses.
Most of these troops fail to reach their designated positions, raising concerns among Ukrainian military commanders.
As reported by Alexey Gozdenko, head of the media group of the 413th separate «Raid» regiment specializing in drone systems, Ukrainian drones regularly repel Russian attacks, preventing the enemy from reaching Ukrainian infantry positions.
The heavy machinery on this sector is rarely observed; instead, Russians rely on light vehicles and motorcycles for movement.
Notably, the so-called “Banzai attacks” involve chaotic movements of Russian assault aircraft in Pokrovsk city, reflecting disorder and low professionalism among the invaders.
Gozdenko highlighted that Russian forces are employing low-quality infantry, considered “draftees,” as expendable.
They attempt to entrench themselves in urban areas, but Ukrainian forces are doing everything possible to prevent their advance.
In the south-Slobozhansk direction, the situation remains extremely tense, with the enemy increasing activity and deploying heavy equipment during assaults.
The intensity of artillery and air strikes has risen, with up to five attacks daily, putting additional pressure on Ukrainian defenders.
