Night Attack in Kyiv and Regions: Consequences and Response Measures

Following a significant night assault by Russian forces on October 22, targeting Kyiv and several key regions of Ukraine, the energy supply situation remained tense.

Emergency power outages were implemented immediately in Kyiv, Kyivska, and Dnipropetrovsk regions to prevent further emergencies.

According to DTEK representatives, these measures were prompted by the command of Ukrenergo in response to missile strikes on infrastructure facilities.

It is recalled that on the night of October 22, Russian military forces again launched attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, and as of the morning, Russia continues its strikes, aggravating the electricity crisis across Ukrainian regions.
