Kyiv Region Under Attack: Air Defense Intercepts Russian Drones Over Kyiv Area
On the night of October 21 to 22, the Kyiv region experienced another wave of explosions and air defense activities.
According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles attempting to breach the region’s airspace were promptly detected and shot down by air defense forces.
The situation caused alarm among local residents and led to an air raid sirens sounding in Kyiv and neighboring districts.
Moreover, in the Pechersky district of the capital, debris from military equipment from the attack fell into the yard of a residential building, raising concerns and prompting evacuation measures.
Authorities emphasized that the situation is under control and military forces continue to strengthen the region’s air defense to prevent further attacks.
