Russian Airstrikes in Kharkiv: New Missile Attacks and Threat of Recurrent Bombings

Chas Pravdy - 21 October 2025 01:24

On the night of October 21, Kharkiv once again became the target of aggression by Russian forces.

According to local authorities, the occupying Russian troops carried out another attack using guided aerial bombs, resulting in a series of powerful explosions across the city.

The probable target was the industrial district of the Industrial area, a strategically significant object for the city’s defense.

Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed the attack and urged residents to stay alert, as there is a high likelihood of repeated strikes in the near future.

He also emphasized the importance of taking shelter and following safety guidelines.

Military experts note that Russian occupiers are intensifying efforts to increase their stockpiles of aerial bombs and are deploying new unified control modules for these munitions.

These developments allow for an extended missile range of up to 200 kilometers, complicating the city’s defenses and posing increased risks to its inhabitants.
