Over 150 clashes in a day: Ukrainian defenders hold the front amid difficult conditions

According to the latest reports from the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, over 150 combat engagements have occurred on the Ukrainian front since October 21.

This number highlights the relentless tension and resilience of Ukrainian troops who actively oppose Russian invaders conducting large-scale offensive operations.

The briefing states that the enemy launched two missile and 39 air strikes during this period, employing six rockets and dropping 85 guided aerial bombs.

Additionally, the enemy used over 1,960 kamikaze drones to attack Ukrainian infrastructure.

The aggressors’ firepower aims at damaging residential areas and military objectives, causing substantial destruction and human losses.On various sectors of the front, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled numerous enemy attacks.

For instance, in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, defenders thwarted one attack, while in the South-Slobozhansk area, they held back 12 enemy assaults near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Stroyivka, Kamyanka, and other settlements, preventing enemy advances.

On the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks around Stepa Nova Selo and Pishchane, and on the Lyman front, 14 attempted breakthroughs were stopped near several key settlements.Enemy forces concentrated efforts around Serebrianka, Novoselivka, Udyane, and Red Liman, attempting multiple assaults, but Ukrainian troops continue to hold the line.

On the Oleksandrivka sector, defenders successfully repelled seven attacks, while in the Huliaipole area, two assaults were thwarted.

The enemy persists with attempts to advance towards Kamyanske, Stepove, and Stepaygorsk, creating tense conditions at the frontline.

Overall, the situation remains strained, but Ukrainian defenders are doing their best to maintain control over critical positions despite ongoing shelling and attacks.
