Amid ongoing military conflicts and increasing threats to civilian safety in Ukraine, enhancing public awareness and skills for emergency response and combat scenarios has become more crucial than ever.

In Boguslav community of Kyiv region, efforts to train civilians and residents received a significant boost.

Special operations forces (SOF) conducted an intensive one-day training that covered a wide range of skills — from tactical medicine and mine safety to drone operation, weapon expertise, and terrain navigation.

This event was part of a broader effort to prepare citizens for national resistance — an essential component of Ukraine’s modern defense strategy.Participants gained not just theoretical knowledge but practical experience delivered by seasoned instructors with direct combat backgrounds.

Emphasis was placed on how new technologies are transforming tactical and strategic approaches, shaping the defense capabilities of the country.

The training included practical drills such as applying tourniquets, controlling bleeding, bomb disposal techniques, and operating modern drones, thereby fostering self-sufficiency and responsibility among civilians in emergency situations.Command representatives highlight that such trainings are more than just learning modules—they are crucial in shaping societal consciousness.

In the contemporary war, it’s not only about weaponry but also about information and technological frontlines, where unseen mechanisms can decisively influence outcomes and undermine enemy plans before they materialize.Participants expressed confidence that the acquired skills will be vital not only in crises but also in strengthening community resilience.

Organizers stress the importance of promoting this training among youth and schools, as it helps develop a responsible and prepared population and fosters a sustained resistance against aggression.
