Russian Attacks in Kharkiv Region Result in Casualties and Injuries
On the night of October 20, Russian aggressors launched missile strikes on several settlements in the Kharkiv region, including Orilka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, leading to tragic consequences for local residents.
According to official information from the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, one man was killed and five others were injured during the attacks.
Reports indicate that in the morning, the occupiers used a drone of the type ‘Geran-2’ to attack the village of Orilka in the Lozova district.
This resulted in private homes being damaged, a 42-year-old woman injured, and her family — husband and two sons aged 11 and 19 — experiencing acute stress reaction, further illustrating the war’s devastating impact on civilians.
Additionally, on October 19, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi was subjected to artillery shelling by Russian forces, leading to the death of a 71-year-old man and injury of another local resident.
More details about these incidents are provided by the regional prosecutor’s office.
