Zelensky reports: Russia launched over 3,270 drones and 50 missiles against Ukraine in a week
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a startling official statement today, revealing the extent of Russian aggression over the past week.
According to him, Russian forces deployed more than 3,270 suicide drones, 1,370 guided bombs, and approximately 50 different missile types, causing widespread destruction and fear among the Ukrainian population.
This indicates a rise in attack intensity and underscores the urgent need to enhance Ukraine’s air defense system further.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is actively working with international partners to deploy new defensive measures, including the PURL program, which facilitates investment in the defense industry and strengthens international security cooperation formats.
In his address, he called on the global community for more decisive actions, underscoring that talk alone won’t stop Putin — pressure is necessary.
“You can’t stop Putin with words — pressure and action are required.
The world sees that Russia responds to strength, and therefore peace via force can work,” Zelensky stated.
He also stressed that Ukraine will not allow terrorists to profit from their crimes and urged the US, Europe, G7, and G20 countries to take vigorous steps to protect lives and restore peace.
