Ukrainian Armed Forces Achieve New Ground in Dnipropetrovsk Region: Confidence in Further Advances
The Ukrainian military has achieved significant success in the Dnipropetrovsk region, confirmed by recent reports from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
According to analysts citing Ukrainian sources, Ukrainian troops successfully liberated the strategic village of Sosnivka, located within the Velikomykhailivska community in the Synelnykivskyi district.
Additionally, Ukrainian forces maintain control over the settlements of Novoselivka and Khoroshy.
As of October 17, the front line in this sector remains tense; Russian sources report the complete capture of Privillia and advances southeast of the village toward the northern part of Vyshneve.
Military analysts emphasize that Ukrainian forces are actively resisting Russian offensive attempts in this sector, with the enemy making 15 attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses over the past day in areas including Sosnivka, Vorone, Novomykolaivka, Novogryhorivka, and Malinivka.
It is noteworthy that earlier, Ukrainian officials reported some successes of Russian forces in the Zaporizhzhia region, especially on several key sections of the front.
