Chas Pravdy - 19 October 2025 09:16

On the night of October 19, Russian forces launched an aggressive drone assault, deploying a significant number of unmanned aerial vehicles, according to Ukrainian military reports.

A total of 62 drones were detected, approximately 40 of which are identified as ‘Shahed’ kamikaze drones used for strikes on strategic targets.

Ukrainian Air Force data indicates that roughly 70% of these drones were shot down or suppressed, with about 40 targets neutralized.

At the same time, over twenty drones struck various locations across the country, including in the north and east.

Notably, seven different sites were hit by kamikaze drones, with attacks reported at these locations.

Ukrainian forces continue their efforts to counter unmanned threats, successfully intercepting and neutralizing them on multiple fronts, maintaining the country’s defensive capabilities.
