Russia Strikes Donetsk and Kherson Regions: Casualties and Destruction Continue Amid Ongoing Aggression
In the past 24 hours, the situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense as Russian forces persist in deliberately targeting peaceful settlements in Donetsk and Kherson regions, leading to increased casualties.
Russian shelling resulted in the death of two civilians—one in Staromyaysk and another in Kostiantynivka—and injuries to eight others, including two in Staromyaysk and one in Druzkhivka.
According to the local military administrations of Donetsk and Kherson, three more civilians were reported wounded.
The attacks mainly focused on critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas.
As a result of the bombardments, two multi-apartment buildings and over fifteen private houses were damaged.
Russian troops are intentionally destroying residential areas, demolishing homes, and disrupting the normal life of local residents, aiming to intensify psychological pressure and ruin the regional economy.
The situation remains dire and calls for urgent international response and support to prevent further casualties and destruction.
