Massive Shelling of Kharkiv Region by Russia: Casualties and Destruction
The Kharkiv region continues to suffer extensive hostilities that have caused significant destruction and human losses.
According to recent reports, Russian occupation forces launched guided aerial bombs and used various types of drones, leading to serious consequences for the civilian population.
Oleksiy Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, stated that during these attacks, 14 people were injured, and a 35-year-old man died, marking a tragic toll of military actions.
The damage is particularly severe in villages and districts: in Spodubivka, two young men aged 19 and 25 were wounded; in Barantsivka—three men; in Shevchenkove—a woman aged 82; in Kivsharivka—an 83-year-old man; in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi—a 44-year-old man; and in Lozova—a 39-year-old man and five women.
The victims sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Infrastructure damage has also increased: 15 houses were damaged in Lozova, a car and 21 private homes in Kupiansk District, and a vehicle in Bohodukhiv District.
Prior to the new wave of hostilities, drones struck Kharkiv, particularly in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where a dormitory was hit, and windows in one of the buildings were shattered.
These events once again highlight the scale of destruction and human suffering in the region, which is facing the harsh reality of war.
