Former U.S.

President Donald Trump expressed his stance on the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, calling on both leaders to cease hostilities and stop fighting along the current front lines.

Trump emphasized that now is the time to bring an end to this prolonged and destructive war, noting the tremendous toll already paid — thousands of lives lost, destroyed cities, and enormous economic damages. In his statement, he pointed out that leaders focused on their own victories should declare achievements in this conflict so that history will ultimately decide who was right.

Trump also highlighted that the war would not have started if he were president, asserting that it’s essential to cease fire and restore peace.

“Let’s stop shooting, end the human casualties, and reduce the colossal costs.

This is a senseless conflict that should have ended long ago if I had been in the Kremlin.

I call on trusting leaders to engage in dialogue for peace,” the former U.S.

president said.He urged to abandon further bloodshed and stressed that only joint efforts can bring the country back to stability and restore trust between peoples.
