Russian Airstrikes in Zaporizhzhia Cause Destruction and Injuries
In the Zaporizhzhia region, specifically in the Polohy district, Russian forces launched a significant attack that marks one of the most severe escalations in recent times.
According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, at least two people have been injured, and multiple buildings—including residential homes, administrative offices, and a kindergarten—have been damaged or destroyed.
The attack involved at least four air strikes, resulting in extensive destruction across the affected area.
Private houses, administrative structures, and a kindergarten were among the casualties of this brutal assault, causing considerable hardship for local residents.
This incident is part of ongoing Russian military actions aimed at pressuring civilian populations and damaging Ukraine’s vital infrastructure.
Recall that less than a month ago, Russian forces attacked Druzkovka in Donetsk, injuring three individuals, which underscores the persistent threat and ongoing violence in Ukraine.
