Women Block Military Vehicle in Khmelnytskyi: One Woman Hospitalized
On the evening of October 16, a group of women staged a protest in Khmelnytskyi district, blocking the movement of a service vehicle from the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC).
The incident occurred around 6:30 PM, when residents of the village of Strykhivtsi, led by Viktoria Blazhievska, stopped the vehicle to clarify the purpose of the visit and the reasons for the personnel’s arrival.
Eyewitnesses report that the driver of the vehicle attempted to continue moving despite villagers trying to speak with him.
The villagers held onto the car body, while the driver and his colleagues sat inside and attempted to drive away.
As a result, several local residents sustained injuries, including a woman with an open arm fracture, others with bruises and abrasions.
The conflict led to the hospitalization of one woman with shoulder injuries at the Yarmolyntsi multi-profile hospital.
Medical teams arrived promptly to assist the injured, and police detained those responsible.
The authorities are now investigating all circumstances surrounding the incident.
