Trump Threatens Military Action Against Hamas if Peace Agreements Are Violated

Chas Pravdy - 17 October 2025 04:25

Former U.S.

President Donald Trump made stern statements regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip, warning that he would resort to military force against the terrorist group Hamas if they violate the peace agreement with Israel.

In his post on Truth Social, Trump emphasized that if Hamas continues violence and ignores their commitments, the United States will have no choice but to intervene and use force to stop the bloodshed.

He stated: “If Hamas does not stop killing people in Gaza, we will have no choice but to apply force and put an end to them.

It is crucial for this situation to be resolved without further bloodshed and casualties.” This warning came amid the signing on October 13 of a joint document by U.S.

representatives, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, aimed at halting hostilities in Gaza.

The signing took place during an international summit hosted by Egypt, with the participation of European leaders.

Prior to this, Trump declared that the war in Gaza was officially over, but noted that if Hamas does not adhere to the agreements, he would consider allowing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resume military operations in Gaza.

The tense situation raises concerns about the potential escalation of conflicts in the region.
