Nighttime Attack on Kryvyi Rih: Damage to Energy and Industrial Infrastructure
On the eve of a dark night, Russian forces launched another drone strike against the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih.
The attack resulted in extensive damage to the city’s energy infrastructure and sparked a fire at an industrial facility located within the city limits.
According to the head of the Kryvyi Rih District Military Administration, Yevhen Sytnychenko, and the chairman of the Kryvyi Rih Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, the enemy drones were shot down in the air; a total of 22 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the region.
Additionally, the region of Nikopol was also targeted with artillery and drone attacks.
As a consequence of these strikes, two women aged 69 and 89 in the Pokrovsk community were injured but will recover at home.
The attacks damaged three multi-apartment buildings, four private residences, and three vehicles.
Official reports from Telegram confirm that the night assault once again exposed the ongoing threats to critical regional infrastructure.
