Massive Drone Attack in Kryvyi Rih: Over Ten Explosions in the City Center
On the night of October 17, Kryvyi Rih, a key city in Dnipropetrovsk region, experienced a serious event that drew the attention of regional residents and Ukrainian media alike.
Around midnight, more than ten powerful explosions rocked the city, as a result of a large-scale attack by Russian kamikaze drones, known as Shaheds.
Alexander Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council, reported via Telegram that Kryvyi Rih is under a massive drone assault.
According to him, over ten attacking drones were recorded in the sky, attempting to destroy infrastructure and instill panic among residents.
Air defense systems managed to shoot down some of the drones, but others still reached their targets.
Local authorities urge residents to remain calm, exercise caution, and follow safety recommendations.
