Ukrainian Armed Forces conduct large-scale clearance operation in two villages in Dnipropetrovsk region: significant enemy losses
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have achieved notable success in the direction of Oleksandrivka by conducting a comprehensive operation to clear two strategically important villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Units from the 214th Separate Assault Battalion and the 5th Separate Assault Brigade coordinated efforts to fully eliminate enemy presence in the settlements of Oleksiyivka and Stepove.
This development was reported by Valeriy Manko, commander of the assault troops, via his Facebook account, emphasizing the massive losses inflicted on the adversary.
According to him, enemy casualties in Oleksiyivka are substantial — including 32 killed, 7 wounded, and 3 captured.
In addition, enemy equipment suffered damage: at least two vehicles were damaged and one destroyed.
Battles in Stepove and the forested areas between the two villages resulted in even heavier losses: 85 killed, 24 wounded, with six pieces of equipment damaged and five destroyed.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that Russian forces, which actively use drones, are losing a company of soldiers weekly in the area near Chasove Yaru due to continuous strikes and high operational tempo.
Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky noted that the situation on the Dnipropetrovsk border remains highly dynamic and tense, as the enemy employs tactics of ‘thousand cuts’ through small-scale harassment, constant shelling, and infiltration attempts to weaken Ukrainian defenses and hinder their advances.
