Putin Warns Trump on Potential Delivery of Tomahawk Missiles to Ukraine

In the Kremlin, statements have emerged indicating that Vladimir Putin warned U.S.

President Donald Trump about the possible negative consequences of delivering long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

According to Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian leader, the nearly two and a half-hour conversation between the two presidents covered various issues, including strategic interests and regional tensions.

Putin emphasized that these missiles would not change the battlefield dynamics but could significantly damage Russia-U.S.

relations.He pointed out that Russia holds a strategic advantage, while the Kyiv regime employs terrorist tactics, which Russia is forced to counter.

The leaders also discussed the possibility of a future high-level meeting, with agreed-upon preparations to be undertaken by their respective representatives.

This high-level dialogue marks the first communication at this level after a nearly two-month hiatus.

Donald Trump announced plans for another meeting, which is scheduled to take place in Budapest.On the following day, October 17, Trump is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, where a key topic will be the potential provision of long-range missile systems, including the Tomahawk, raising significant concern from Russian authorities.
