Consequences of Russian Attacks on Donetsk and Kharkiv Regions: Loss of Lives and Destruction
During October 15 and 16, the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Kharkiv experienced significant shelling, leading to tragic outcomes for local residents.
According to regional prosecutors, as a result of Russian air and ground assaults, a woman was killed, and nine other people were wounded, including a child notably affected by the violence.
In Kramatorsk district, Russian forces dropped an FAB-250 aerial bomb equipped with UMPK on the village of Raygorodok, causing damage to four civilians, among them a minor boy who is currently in moderate condition.
His older brother was hospitalized in a severe state.
The blast damaged 16 private houses and a vehicle.
Meanwhile, on Kharkiv’s territory, the enemy launched a combined attack involving missile launches and drones of the Gera-2 type targeting energy and gas infrastructure sites.
Four workers at industrial facilities were wounded—two in the Izyum district and two in Bohodukhiv.
Additionally, villages such as Skovorodynivka and the Lozovenkivske water reservoir came under fire using aviation and drones.
On October 16, a shelling of Novoozyasivka in the Kupiansk district resulted in the death of a 58-year-old woman, while another woman, aged 75, was wounded in Kupiansk.
The ongoing military actions create a tense humanitarian and security situation, and Ukrainian communities continue to face severe hardships due to Russian aggression.
