Russian Forces Capture Three Settlements in Donetsk: Recent Developments
On the night of October 14 to 15, the analytical project DeepState reported a new development in the military situation in Donetsk, where Russian occupying forces seized three strategically important settlements — Perebudova, Komar, and Mirtne.
These settlements are located along the Novopavlovsk direction, one of the key battle zones in the region.
According to sources, Russian troops have advanced in these areas and also pushed near Ivanivka and Voskresenka, creating new challenges for Ukrainian defenders.
It is noted that on October 14, analysts reported the enemy’s occupation of positions in the areas of Mirtne, Perebudova, and Komar, but Ukrainian forces are currently maintaining their positions.
The report highlights that losses in the latter two settlements were significant due to logistical difficulties and challenges in holding control, although temporary positions were maintained thanks to the enemy changing focus to other sectors and efforts by Ukrainian military units.
Additionally, it was previously reported on October 13 by DeepState that Russia occupied the settlement of Ternove in the Dnipropetrovsk region, indicating an escalation of hostilities across various parts of Ukraine.
